An interactive garden area where kids (and adults) were able to participate in a number of stations: native plant planting station. Our program’s mission is that of inspiring and teaching children, their parents and educators to get into the garden and out into nature, and to understand the importance of why we should be doing so
Schools Outreach Event
Jeanne’s Garden Program for Children was Feb 9th at the Mission Trails Visitor Center we hosted teachers and educators for chance to learn about African Drumming, Zero Waste in schools, Financial Literacy for children, School Pizza Ovens, Agriculture and Food Literacy in schools, Rain Water Capture, Natural History Museum and the Tijuana Estuary.
